Like a dark, dystopic cousin of the famous video for ‘Take on me’, the video for 'This is now America’ is a lament for an American dream in tatters.

Inside a detailed hand-drawn universe filled with pop-cultural references from the 80’s, the ominous and at times disturbing narrative follows a lost adolescent character on the verge of self-destruction, hiding from and peeking out on a troubled, disintegrating world.
