The northeastern corner of Lake Tahoe is home to a small, but unique Waste Management yard. The vast majority of their residential work is still done manually due to many residents opting to house their refuse in bear-proof sheds. Manual/semi auto from WM is almost nonexistent down in SoCal, so that plus an older pre-emission diesel rear loader made this quite cool in my opinion. I’ve never seen a McNeilus blade run this fast at idle either so that was also quite interesting.
