To me, Love is a paradox that sums up the human experience beautifully. It may be used for positive or negative outcomes, depending on how it's handled; it has the potential to both heal and inspire, as well as wreak great harm if not. Putting aside and giving up important things for the sake of love may be a growth-inducing experience that reveals who we really are.

Yet, it's a fragile emotion that requires constant nurturing. Especially with our closer friends and family. But sometimes, moving on when the feelings are one-sided is necessary, even when you can't ride off them. Since love in whatever form should be selfless, mutual and genuine. And although it's one of these painful lessons we have to learn as individuals, it underscores the need of closure and moving on…
