Watch Benny Dayal and Funktuation the band shine in the limelight at this year's #MILFF2018 music festival. Hosted by Mojo Projects, this year's line-up included rising stars, established musicians and a lot of fusion musicians. The 34-year old Indian playback singer who has sung Bollywood hits like Badtameez Dil, Lat Lag Gayi & Daaru Desi took to his innate fusion instincts and performed an amazing rendition of A R Rahman's popular song Petta Rap.
Benny Dayal has toured the world, independently and with AR Rahman. But this is his first public performance in Malaysia, full-fledged with his band Funktuation and The Horn Flakes. The multilingual artist can sing in 11 different languages: Hindi, Telugu, English, Assamese, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Bengali, Marathi and Arabic.
The Chennai based band which came to limelight with their funky covers of 80's and 90's music made the entire audience groove on the closing night of #MILFF2018. The show starred other artists of the likes of Sean Roldan & Friends, Andrea Jeremiah, Rajesh Vaidya ft. Sathyaprakash & Pooja & local acts such as #PU4LYF, and Sashi the Don.
The annual festival was hosted at Star Expo, KL, Malaysia. The Malaysian concert focused on Indian entertainment brought together a never before line-up for a memorable concert on 8th September 2018.
