New rules handed down Wednesday should bring relief to some air travelers. The U.S. Department of Transportation said travelers will no longer have to haggle to get their money back when flights are canceled. Industry experts said the decision will lead to greater transparency. Airlines will be required to provide automatic cash refunds within a few days for canceled flights and significant delays — when departure or arrival times for domestic flights are three or more hours different than scheduled.
