As one of Variety's 2021 Power of Women honorees, Katy Perry surprised the audience with an acoustic arrangement of her song "What Makes a Woman." Perry was named as an honoree alongside Lorde, poet Amanda Gorman, Warner Bros. exec Channing Dungey and EGOT winner Rita Moreno.
