The Olympic flame will leave Greece and set sail for France onboard a famous ship.

The Belem was built in a shipyard 2,000 kilometres from Greece, where the first modern Olympics took place.

The Olympic flame will travel to Paris on ship over a 10-day voyage.

Adding another chapter to the history of the historic ship and the modern Olympics.

The Belem is the oldest three-masted barque ship in Europe.
