This is a live concert recorded from a radio rebroadcast originally taped May 6th, 1977 at Long Island University in Brooksville, NY. This is a special concert towards the end of the Turnstiles Tour where Billy plays all but one song of of the Turnstiles album, all but two songs off of the Piano Man album, a staggering four songs off of the Streetlife Serenade album (a lot considering Billy does not like this album), a rare performance of She's Got A Way from Cold Spring Harbor, and the first performances ever of 'Just The Way You Are' and 'Scenes From An Italian Restaurant.' Overall, at this point in his career, Billy plays at least one song off of every single one of his albums in this concert. His vocal performance is top notch, especially in this version of Piano Man, and his band are at top-notch form with some of the best drumming from Liberty Devitto. With rare performances of songs like 'Worse Comes To Worst' and 'Weekend Song,' tight vocals and instrumentation, and an impeccable THREE encores, this in my opinion is the best Billy Joel concert of his entire career.
