New Duster can count on the CMF-B platform which is at the center of DACIA's industrial strategy. Introduced on the latest Sandero and Logan models, subsequently adopted by Jogger, this competitive and extremely flexible platform offers the Brand great freedom, allowing it to develop its ambitious product plan in an optimal way.

To offer lovers of outdoor activities a peaceful drive, New Duster offers unique off-road qualities on the market of "non-specialist" four-wheel drive vehicles (4x4s not equipped with a reduction gear).

GREATER OFF-ROAD CAPABILITIES IN THE ALL-WHEEL DRIVE VERSION
New Duster is available with 4x4 traction and Terrain Control which can be managed through 5 driving modes:

AUTO: the system automatically manages the torque between the front and rear axles based on grip and speed.

SNOW: optimizes trajectories on slippery roads thanks to specific settings of the stability control and traction control system.

MUD/SAND: for riding on unstable surfaces, such as muddy or sandy paths.

OFF-ROAD: Offers the best off-road capabilities on difficult routes. In terms of performance, it is very similar to the 4x4 lock mode of the current Duster, but goes further, automatically and optimally distributing torque between the front and rear wheels depending on the grip conditions detected and the speed of the vehicle.

ECO: allows you to optimize fuel consumption by acting on the climate control and vehicle performance. Optimizes torque distribution between front and rear to limit fuel consumption, while simultaneously adapting to road grip conditions.
Off-road-proof ground clearance: 217 mm (measured between the axles) in the all-wheel drive version, the best on the market.

More favorable approach and departure angles, in the all-wheel drive versions, up to 31° at the front and 36° at the rear, and a breakover angle of 24°.

Downhill speed control system. This system is particularly useful for off-road driving and steep, slippery descents. It acts above all on the brakes to avoid losing control of the vehicle and thus guarantee the right speed (depending on the driver's input) from 0 to 30 km/h. The system works on all gear ratios, including reverse. The driver will no longer have to worry about the accelerator and brake pedals, but only the steering wheel for the direction of the vehicle.

Lots of information that is particularly useful for off-road driving appears on the 10.1" central display:
Right/left lateral inclination angle of the vehicle
Pitch angle to evaluate uphill and downhill slopes
Torque distribution between front and rear (in the all-wheel drive version).
