Yellowstone National Park announced the park's east entrance is set to open Friday.

The road from the East Entrance to Lake Village and Canyon Village to Lake Village will open at 8 a.m. weather permitting.

With winter weather expected temporary road closures or delays for opening are possible. Officials urge travelers to have flexible travel plans.
