The Romans are a Country - Bluegrass- Pop-Band Band from Rijeka, led by Gorhan Troha, who is known as the best Banjo-Player in Croatia. Together with Annika Ljungberg, the original Singer of the World Hit of the 90s, they wrote and perform Song about the Comeback of good old "Cotton Eye Joe". So after twenty years, they brought the wellknown womanizer back again!

It is the second part of the traditional American story about Cotton-Eye Joe in a light country-bluegrass style for dance floors and house parties that crave good music. Goran Troha (banjo) explains after they were on tour with the Cripple Creek Cloggers, a dance group from Tennessee, they were inspired to write this song. And "who else than Annika, the Swedish wonder. who made Joe famous, would fit better for a musical cooperation ?" remembers Troha.

Annika Ljungberg, who wrote and composed the track together with the band, gladly accepted the invitation: „I feel wonderful and enjoy every moment when I sing with The Romans", she said.
