Green Power Energy has been in the solar industry since 2009. Originally as a green home builder, it was the vision of our founder, Richard Meurer, to build carbon neutral homes. The approach was to couple green building practices with renewable energy sources like solar energy and geothermal heating and cooling.

As the solar industry began to offer more efficient and affordable products to homeowners and business owners, Green Power Energy was poised to be leaders in the solar industry and over time we refined our service offering to focus exclusively on being a turnkey solar provider.

Green Power Energy is headquartered in Annandale, NJ in our very own green village powered by 1,400 solar modules. Since our founding we have installed solar on thousands of homes and businesses and have expanded our service area from New Jersey to Pennsylvania and Connecticut. Our approach is different in that our sales experience is collaborative and educational, our products and purchase offerings are expansive, we provided 25-year warranties and service, and we are privately held and family owned, which allows our customers to feel cared for along the way.
