이라크 내 이슬람 무장단체, 이스라엘 수도에 미사일 공격

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq known as the Iraqi militant group has launched multiple cruise missiles on the Israeli capital of Tel Aviv on Thursday afternoon.
This is one of the few instances the group has claimed to have launched such attacks.

Two statements from the Islamic Resistance in Iraq appeared online on Thursday night, where the militant group claimed it launched cruise missiles toward Tel Aviv and Beersheba earlier on the same day.
The statements said that the attacks were carried out "in solidarity with the people of Gaza" and pledged to persist in targeting the "enemy's strongholds."
A source from the Iran-backed Shiite militia said the attack was carried out with multiple Arqub-type cruise missiles.
There were no alerts activated or reports of entry of projectiles from Iraq.
In the more than six months of the Israel-Hamas war, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq has periodically claimed to have launched dozens of missiles and drone attacks targeting Israeli and U.S. bases in the region.
However, according to reports only a few projectiles actually entered Israel from the direction of Iraq.
