Hi there! It's been a while, hasn't it? And at a not very opportune time either...

First off, I want to say that this is not me coming back to make AH Shenanigans regularly again. The reason why I made this video is just to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of my first ever video on this channel. Despite the problems that making these videos gave me back then, I still look back and treasure them a whole lot, and I have never once regretted doing them. I've been wanting to make a video for the 10-year anniversary for the last 3-4 years now, and now that the time has come here it is! I had to work my ass off to get it done in time since I don't have as much free time now as I did 8-9 years ago.

I'd also like to say rest in peace Achievement Hunter, thank you for all the memories and laughs you've given me and many others. I only heard about the news recently when checking the comments on my videos that AH was officially dissolved just a few weeks ago. Watching their videos was a very big part of my life back then so it was sad to hear that they finally closed it down. I am very glad that most of the old crew are still constantly making videos for Rooster Teeth, and that some of them, like Geoff for instance, have gotten better physically and mentally over the years. Rooster Teeth has been in a very rough spot over the years but to see the guys still standing after everything that has happened is amazing to see, and I believe it's been for the better.

I said in my last video that I had trouble watching AH anymore due to the mental problems it gave me, but I can safely say now that that's no longer the case. Working on this video was actually an enjoyable experience for me and listening to the banter between the guys was fun. I actually went ahead and watched the LP video that this moment came from and loved it. I'll probably be watching some of their older stuff every now and then from now on, so that I can look back at those memories fondly.

If you've read this far then thank you for doing so for someone small like me. Most of the recent comments I get on my videos have been ones of melancholy, lamenting the fact that AH wasn't the same in its final years as it was back then or just simple nostalgia to a simpler time. I want to say that while those simple times of the guys just sitting around playing games together may not be there for AH, it can be there for other, smaller YouTubers who just upload themselves playing games while chatting with each other. Look around and experiment, see who works out for you and who doesn't. And if that still doesn't work, then the old LP videos aren't going anywhere. Go back and watch them like you did before, and hopefully you can re-experience the same fun that you did watching them years ago still.

Till next time. Take care of yourself!
