By far the best thing about this song is the fact that Rod basically raps the "Tumble out of bed" section. Yep, Rod Hull, *rapping*. You can stop the internet now - everything makes perfect sense. Of course, this is the Pink Windmill Kids' rendition of 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton, from the film of almost-but-not-quite the same name. (The song is called 9 to 5, but the film bears the title Nine to Five, for no good reason I can think of.) The sharp-eared amongst you will also notice brief themes from Whistle While You Work and Heigh-Ho, both of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs fame. It was originally broadcast on the 22nd May 1987 episode of Emu's Wide World.

Many thanks to Lindsay for lending me this tape.

(Please remember that this is an off-air VHS recording, so don't go expecting 1080p HD quality. I'm fairly certain that this video isn't commercially available, and I've uploaded it for its historic interest only. That said, if you are a copyright holder and object, please don't hesitate to contact me.)
