The fifth installment of the We Were There panel series will focus on Crisis & Operations Management and explore how our leaders have utilized these concepts during some of the largest events across Greater New York region & nationally.

The concept of "operations management" means different things to different people. What is clear is that leaders from the Greater New York region have been tasked with guiding our team through some of our metropolitan area's most challenging and complex times. Over years of experiencing and processing disasters, GNY leaders have pioneered programs and policies that have been imitated throughout the country.

During this panel, the audience will hear about the special considerations of leadership when preparing and responding to a large-scale operation. Panelists will answer a series of questions based on their personal experiences responding to events such as natural disasters, mass casualty incidents, and other large-scale events.

Brian Gerber, Sr. Disaster Program Manager
