The Shining Stars Synchro Team is Building Stars For Life in Miramar Florida. The primary goal of Shining Stars Synchro Team is to achive excellence through mental and physical discipline and to encourage pride in the sport of synchronized swimming. Through the hard work and dedication of the athletes, coaches, parents, and volunteers, it is their goal to offer the best recreational / developmental and competitive training program that will allow each synchro swimmer to achieve her best potential. The team has been developed with lots of hard work and strong commitment to excellence. The professional staff has created an environment which fosters respect, good sportsmanship, and hard work. In order to help each swimmer achieve her goal, they provide an environment which not only molds the body, but also develops positive attitudes and respect towards oneself and others. Shining Stars are a nationally ranked competitive synchronized swimming team. The team is sanctioned by US Synchronized Swimming (USSS) and sponsored by parents and friends.
Practice is held at Miramar Regional Park Aquatic Complex, 16801 SW Miramar Parkway, Miramar FL 33027. All synchro swimmers aspiring to become new members of the competitive program will be given a series of tests to evaluate their abilities and potential for the sport. Once the swimmer has passed the initial evaluation, she will be placed in the appropriate level: Novice, Intermediate, or Age Group. Once a swimmer is accepted into the competitive program, she shall become a member of the United States Synchronized Swimming, Inc. and maintain a current standing.
