In this month's case study, I analyze 'Run Away With Me' by Carly Rae Jepsen, best known for 'Call Me Maybe' and her 2015 album EMOTION. Turns out it's the best pop song of the decade (if not the century), but there are some really interesting reasons as to why. Enjoy!

Do you agree? Do you disagree? Do you think Crazy Frog's 'Axel F' is better? Let me know why in the comments!

(P.S. I meant to say "F# major" instead of F when discussing the chords, apologies to all offended key signatures.)

(P.P.S The minor 2nd harmony in the last chorus is actually a major 2nd between F# and G# - sorry for misspeaking!)
