This song is a story about a grown man, who's dressed in a clown outfit, he's sad because his happiness is always a illusion, and every time he is happy, he often makes someone sad, mad or uncomfortable without wanting to, although he remembers his high school life when he was actually happy, with his girlfriend, and despite not being perfect he was happy, so he currently reassures himself that everything's alright.
