Understandably James Earl Jones sounds much older in Rogue One than his younger self in A New Hope but since R.O. is a Prequel, I decided to give it Vader a younger sound, just like in the Kenobi Series.

No, I didn't use Respeecher, I had someone better!

The very talented @RyanGoldenVO who voices Vader here, voiced him in the style of A New Hope rather than the more fleshed-out Empire Strikes Back onwards kinda voice, for accuracy. He knows the subtle differences, in emotion, speech delivery and changes in reverb.

Ryan also helped me distort Krenic's dialogue, to make it sound dated, similar to some of the audio A New Hope.

Crimson Maul photoshopped some frames of Vader's window view of Mustafar to give it a matte painting look, more in-keeping with the Original Trilogy. I then used Ebsynth to replicate the new look.

I also de-saturated the footage and added film noise, to give it a classic Star Wars look.
