Our first 3 chakras - also called the "lower chakras" - are connected to our basic needs and emotions:
Our root chakra (also called “Muladhara") provides grounding, reliability and stability in life. Its function is to keep us from worrying about how to survive and take care of ourselves. The sacral chakra - or "Svadhisthana" - holds, among other things, the drive to procreate, but also feelings such as self-esteem. Finally, the solar plexus chakra, the "Manipura" chakra, is where our ability to position and assert ourselves in this world resides.

It is important that we first activate these lower chakras, heal them and get them functioning well so that we can stand with both feet in life. Only then can we begin to move into the higher chakras to align ourselves with the levels above.

Just as a melody can be composed by the use of the 7 notes of an octave, the 7 chakras create the soundtrack of our existence as human beings. And just as the construction of a house begins with the foundation, the work on the chakras starts from the bottom. Therefore, this lower chakras healing meditation starts at the lowest chakra frequency and rises successively.

The present music for meditation and/or sleep is based on a natural 432Hz chakra grid. According to this grid, the frequencies our lower chakras can resonate with are as follows: root chakra (256Hz) - sacral chakra (288Hz) - solar plexus chakra (324Hz).
