Singer Anouk called rapper Ronnie Flex a "little, crying poor bitch n****". Which caused a public outcry, as many people think that word cannot be used by a white person. Together with Sibo Kanobana, sociolinguist at Open Universiteit, we dive into the history of this word and other sensitive words. Surprisingly, not all negative words today had the same meaning and connotation in the past (for example the dutch words 'wijf', negative for woman, and 'vrouw', the regular word for woman).
