The Switzer Report founder Peter Switzer says he suspects people will see the Australian economy “slowing down” this year.

Mr Switzer said he thinks inflation will be “trending down" by the time we get to November.

“I think the RBA will wait and see the data over the next three months,” he told Sky News Australia.

“I do suspect that we will see the economy slowing down.

“I think inflation will still be trending down by the time we get to November.

“It’s a good bet that we’ll actually see a cut in November because I do think the economy is slowing.”
