This is the 16th of 17 segments from my 7500 mile road trip this summer.
Utah, outside of the major population centers is an extremely desolate, but beautiful place. Most of I-15 had few trees, yet it was oddly green. The scenic highlight of this day's drive was the gorge inside extreme northwestern Arizona -- simply stunning formations. A relaxing two-day stay in Vegas was a nice finale to the road trip before heading home.

Recording was done on a Canon Vixia HF S10. GPS data was recorded using an Android phone. Editing and compositing was done with mplayer, mencoder, ffmpeg, ImageMagick, and a bit of perl glue.
