Carly Rae Jepsen may be a huge pop star, but like many of us, she spent a lot of time alone over the last couple years — and she’s the first to admit that it wasn’t always easy. She was separated from her family, mourning the death of someone close to her and dealing with the fear a lot of us felt during the pandemic. But on the flipside of all that, she used that time to explore and reflect on what it means to be lonely. Through that exploration she created her latest album, The Loneliest Time. Jepsen sat down with Tom Power to tell us more about it.
