D’ abord avec la trilogie The Lord of the Rings qui est sorti dans les années 2000 , elle est souvent considérée comme la plus grande trilogie de tous les temps. Puis dans les années 2010 avec la trilogie The Hobbit qui se déroule 70 années avant la trilogie The Lord of the Rings.
