It's not often that you get to see Jean Claude-Van Damme performing the splits between two moving vehicles…the 53 year old did just this in Volvo's new spot directed by Andreas Nilsson, which has taken the internet by storm. Part of a series of stunt based commercials for Volvo, this is possibly the most impressive, being executed in one take following three days of rehearsal by the production team, so the final version could be captured within a 15 minute window when the morning light was right. James Bamford, Mill colourist comments, "This spot was great fun to work on. The grade enhanced the natural feel of the sun rising with an array of oranges and yellows which was offset nicely by an extra reversal look encompassing a dusty purple low range shadow."
