This is my bird friend, Willy Woodpecker, who is a Red Shafted Flicker Woodpecker...he is always around the neighborhood and drives me batty when on the lamppost pecking incessantly...but he is so beautiful to look at!!! Was a really crappy day out, so the colors of him don't come through the best.
