After Korra saved Kuvira from her own spiritually-charged Mecha, the Avatar and the Great Uniter find themselves both in the Spirit World, brought there by a new portal created in Republic City. It's in this moment that Korra realizes how similar her and Kuvira truly are, and finds the sympathy and compassion to help Kuvira see the error in her ways, and guide her back to the path of light.
