The Human Torch, Johnny Storm, debuted in the 1967 Fantastic Four animated series with a classic Jack Kirby art style. He appeared in the 1978 series, but licensing issues replaced him with the robot HERBIE. In 1994's Fantastic Four: The Animated Series, Johnny's look evolved with darker tones. Chris Evans played him in the 2005 live-action film, followed by an anime-style version in 2006's Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes. The 2015 reboot featured Michael B. Jordan. Joseph Quinn will portray a 60s throwback version in the upcoming MCU adaptation.
