The father of New South Wales Premier Chris Minns is being treated in hospital after suffering a heart attack.

A spokesperson for the Premier has released a statement.

“Mr John Minns had a massive heart attack yesterday and is in an induced coma in ICU at St George Hospital,” it read.

“The family are by his side and are thankful for the care he’s getting from health workers and doctors.”
