Ingredients:
3/4 cup of split green moong beans
3/4 cup of split chickpeas
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
3/4 tsp of cumin seeds
5 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 inch ginger, chopped
2 pinches of asafoetida
1/2 of a large onion, chopped
2 medium size tomatoes, chopped
1 tsp of ground turmeric
1 tsp of ground coriander
1 tsp of ground red chilli ( mild)
1/2 tsp of crushed black pepper
Salt to taste
Some chopped coriander leaves
