*Dear Friends :-D,
Kindly NOTE that, the absence or presence of ANY of the parameters, is not entirely 100%. For example, the Artist or Craftsman may wish to ADD a bit more clay to REFINE the outside area around the circumferential ManPian 满片 or DiPian 底片 seams, and thus smearing off the presence of these natural Man Pian/Di Pian seams. * Also, these ManPian and DiPian seams are often FAKED on by non-Fully-Handmade pots (jigger-machined, slip-casted pots): the factory boss nowadays, often INSTRUCT his workers to swivel a tool and cut a line to FAKE the ManPian/DiPian seams. NOT ONLY THAT, the factor bosses have recently have new MOLDS that INHERENTLY have a seam on the top circumference and bottom circumference so that the jigger-machined pot that pops out of it, will HAVE FAKE MANPIAN AND DIPIAN SEAMS!

Dear Friends :-), we learn how to decipher a pot: is it really Handmade? and is it even made of ZiSha? Still, note carefully that:
1) The presence of a rear vertical adjoining seam does not 100% mean it is a Fully-Handmade pot,
2) The presence of an inner top JAGGED edge does not 100% mean it is a Fully-Handmade pot.
BECAUSE IN HIGH IMITATION POTS, THEY CAN STILL BE FAKED ON.
NOTE THAT We as ZiSha consumers/collectors, must still LOOK AT ALL THAT A POT PRESENTS WITH, IN ORDER TO MAKE A FINAL DECISION AS TO WHETHER IT IS, OR IT IS NOT, A FULLY-HANDMADE ZISHA POT.
We cannot rest on one single indicator to make our decision.
We must look at the pot as a whole, at ALL THE INDICATORS AND FEATURES TO MAKE A FINAL JUDGEMENT/DECISION.

For this episode, we walk through one pot donated by a friend who bought from a retailer in Hong Kong. The retailer told him it is a Handmade pot, but it is a machined pot.
We will go through many parameters.

Thank you for your patience my friends!
:-D
May you always enjoy your tea and ZiSha.
