At the birth of the Saviour of the world, there was no room in the inn but in stark contrast that same Saviour plainly tells us that for everyone born of this earth there is always room at his table. No one will be turned away. Social standing and bearing are immaterial. Time and time again, we see Jesus extend the hand of friendship to the undesirable the unwanted and the socially excluded. With that same spirit he calls us to offer a welcome to others, as we follow along the Trail of Grace.

‘The immigrant and refugee.
The old the frail, and those in need.
Will find the welcome that they seek.
