Three years after my prostate cancer diagnosis I find I am much more of a risk taker. Mountain climbing- type risk taking. But it seems counterintuitive- after going through years of miserable cancer treatments to extend my life why am I so ready to willingly risk it? Becoming a cancer survivor has been known to change a person's personality and I guess it has mine. But I am still working at understanding why.
