Eating plant based got me through heart disease, cancer treatment and helped me lose 50 pounds. But being repeatedly asked about oxalates I finally did some research and read the book- "Toxic Superfoods"- https://amzn.to/3KLoISz and now I am questioning my diet of sweet potatoes, spinach and other foods high in oxalates. I figure it is worth a month of changing my diet to see if cutting way back on oxalates can help with my sleep issues, my joint pain, my frequent urination. I still feel my Okinawan-inspired Blue Zone diet focused on purple sweet potatoes is very healthy. But I am willing to consider that there may be another side to the healthy foods I eat.
