In this video, I explore the capabilities of the newly released Reka Core multimodal AI model. Reka Core is positioned just below GPT-4 from OpenAI and above the recently launched Claude Opus model, making it an intriguing new player in the AI assistant space.

I put Reka Core through its paces by uploading various types of content - a short video, an audio clip, and a YouTube Short. I evaluate how well Reka Core is able to analyze and provide insights on the different media.

Reka Core demonstrates impressive multimodal capabilities. However, it struggles to pick up on all the specific details in a video and it currently does not support direct audio uploads.

Overall, Reka Core seems to be a promising new AI assistant, but there are still some areas for improvement compared to other leading models like Gemini Pro 1.5. If you're curious to learn more about this new AI technology and how it stacks up, be sure to watch the full video!
