Kansas City had a professional NBA team, the KINGS, from about 1972-1985. John and I, along with many friends, were members of The Backcourt Boozers--a fan club of sorts. We sat in a special section and did things like dressing a blowup sex doll in a referee uniform and throwing her around the crowd in Kemper arena. John Pucheck heard that the new cheerleader squad, THE GLITTER GIRLS, was conducting auditions for the next season. I took this video of what happened next with my first system. ( Sony B/W reel to reel Porta-Pak, purchased in New York in 1972.) Compared to what is available today, this would be like comparing an iPhone to two cans with a string between them.
