WHAT IS SCOOTER? It stands for 'Sickle Cell Open - Online Topics and Educational Resources'. The SCOOTER project is now 4 years old and continues to support and share open educational resources for teaching about sickle cell anaemia and blood disorders.

Resources shared by the project include a range of biomedical science subject such as biochemistry and genetics, and also covers guidance for schools, resources for nurses and other aspects of medicine and healthcare.

These materials are FREE!! They are 'open educational resources' or OERs, shared by De Montfort University staff and our collaborators.
