Mathematical notation can be intimidating for people without an academic or mathematical background, and yet seems to be a necessity to navigate textbooks, papers, and data science/machine learning literature.
In this video, we will cover some fundamental mathematical notation practices. In future videos in this series, we will explore mathematical notation in regards to linear algebra, calculus, and set theory.
