Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume has called on the government to implement “practical solutions” for domestic violence and “not more talkfests”.

Mr Albanese was heckled at a ‘No More’ rally against men’s violence in Canberra over the weekend.

The rally was attended by 5,000 people.

“We know what those practical solutions are,” Ms Hume told Sky News Australia.

“The discussions have already taken place – they have been done.

“Now it’s time to implement those implementable practical solutions now to save lives immediately – not more talkfests … we need something that works on the ground.”
