Irish actor Pierce Brosnan held the role from 1995 to 2004. The character was also doubled by stuntmen Wayne Michaels, Jacques Malnuit, and BJ Worth.[2] He appeared in GoldenEye (1995), Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), The World Is Not Enough (1999) and Die Another Day (2002).
