Born and raised in London, Paul Cook has been making music since he could hold a guitar. Inspired by classic sixties guitar pop, seventies west coast Americana, Britpop, and innovative contemporary pop and rock 'n' roll, his songwriting is always evolving, but at its core it remains melancholic and warm-hearted.

“Chin Up” is a missive from a friend bearing unwanted truths and a hand on the shoulder urging you back into the world. A reflective and bittersweet slice of west coast influenced indie.
