Eric Estrada plays up and coming Puerto Rican Middleweight boxer Rico "Honeyboy" Ramirez, from out of the South Bronx.
His goal is a title shot at unstoppable Middleweight champion Tiger Maddox, but he must wade through sleazy promoters and personal difficulties along the way.
