Fresh off the bus from Iowa, John Phillips arrives in New York City with high hopes of making it as an actor, but things don't go quite so well in that department. He reluctantly lands a job at a male strip club, where he becomes a huge sensation....but it puts his acting aspirations in jeopardy.
