Filipino-Canadian artists, Eric Ryan and Julles share their pens with Chinese-Canadian producer, HMLT, for this latest tearjerker.

Disguised as a cute 2-minute bop, Oyster depicts the widening rift of a long-distance relationship, where both partners struggle to openly confess their trepidations as they move away from the precious pearl of love.

From Julles: “Oyster is the fastest song I’ve ever written. It’s basically about being in a long- distance relationship or situation with someone and you both are trying to make it work but the distance is clearly making it hard but you both don’t want to admit it”
