To change the language, right-click on the Windows icon and select Settings, or you can use the keyboard command Windows + i.

Click on Time & language on the left side of the menu, followed by clicking on Language & region.

In the Language section, click on Add a language. Here you can search for the language that you want to set in Windows 11. For instance, I can add Canadian English. Sometimes, it’s easier to search for a country instead of the language.

Next, to the language you select, you should see multiple icons. These icons show what features are supported for your selection. You have Display language, Text-to-speech, Speech recognition, and Handwriting.

Click on Next to continue. You can now choose to install the optional language features. Beneath that, you have the option to set this language as the main Windows 11 display language.

Click on Install to continue. Once the installation is done, you need to sign out or reboot your PC for the changes to take place.

Before you do that, you can add a keyboard for the newly installed language. Click on the three dots icon next to the newly installed language. Select Language Options.

After that, click on the Add a keyboard button. Here you can set a specific keyboard to use with this language. In my case, I use UK English with Belgian period keyboard setting.

This concludes our how to change language on Windows 11 tutorial. I'm inspired by creators as TechGumbo and Tech Insider.
