I wrote this song about folding secret messages into paper planes and sending them off for the person with the decoder ring to find. It could be about love, but for me the paper airplanes represent my songs. I found out who I am as a person by writing them. When someone connects with a song, it feels like they understand a piece of me that was hidden until I could find a way to express it through music. That’s why it means so much to me every time you listen to & support what I create. I’m really grateful & can’t wait to share new songs with you this year. In the meantime, I’ll be posting lullaby versions of my originals and lullaby covers every Wednesday.
