What would happen if a beginner was to train neck for 100 days?

PRODUCTS REFERENCED

I started neck training with a cheap harness from Amazon, and if you are a student/ someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on equipment I would suggest the same.

However if you are committed to neck training for the long run and have the money I would definitely consider the neck flex (used by Jeff Nippard, Alphadestiny and the UFC). After upgrading I have to say it is much more sturdy, comfortable and allows you to train lateral flexion which I couldn't really do before.

- Neck training is underrated.
- Training everyday is overkill and not optimal.
- Do not copy me, follow Jeff Nippard, Alpha Destiny and the Bioneer.
- Cross reference all info you receive.
- Read atomic habits if you are looking to strengthen habits.
- If untrained you can make noticeable neck progress in just 100 day.

I also think its very important to point out the 'before' photo had awful lighting, hence why I tried to recreate it in the final before and after photo, the truth is even though 1.25 inches is significant growth in only 100 days, in bad lighting it isn't as noticeable.

Secondly, while an interesting experiment and something I wanted to try out of pure curiosity (gonna say it again) I do not recommend training neck everyday, as mentioned in the video only 3-4 neck days a week were done with a higher intensity, however since I have moved to 3 times a week and progress has been much steadier.

I strongly recommend prioritization of an effective warmup and higher rep sets as neck strains are not fun at all. Moreover I recommend filming yourself on your first few sets as this will allow you to spot hyperextension (as I did)/ allow you to identify and correct poor form.
